Welcome to Sweet, sweet Jamaica

JAMAICA, JAMAICA… If by chance you have not yet visited or have not visited for a while what has been described as "The Most Beautiful Island in the Caribbean"; the enchanting jewel of the Caribbean Sea beckons with its white sandy beaches, it's majestic cascading waterfalls, our many charming Great Houses, hikes through lush trails of tropical flora in breathtakingly beautiful mountain peaks, or enjoy a night full of magic, as the cool sea breeze teases you with the sensual beat of reggae. I have not even mentioned the food! http://www.paradisepalmsjamaicatours.com.

A visit to Jamaica in your lifetime can be life changing, many have said that they have had spiritual enlightenment, or they have become at peace with life, we are not talking about a visit to the All-inclusive resorts or hotels in Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios or all the resort destinations on the island, we are talking about truly venturing out into the real Jamaica to meet Jamaicans living thier lives naturally, this can be an eye opener you will never soon to forget.

The real Jamaica has so much to offer, there is a famous local song that says "Sweet, sweet Jamaica, Nawh lef ya", this means as it said "Sweet, sweet Jamaica, I am not leaving here", the breath taking scenaries, beaches, people and so much more is a delight to see each day.
Green Grotto Cave Shore Excursion

Welcome to the Green Grotto Caves In Jamaica

Let Paradise Palms Jamaica Tours take you to the Green Grotto Caves which is 1,525 metres long and 12 metres deep and is characterised by numerous chambers and light holes and a subterranean lake – the Grotto Lake – occupies its bowels. The cave is rich in history and can be identified with different groups of people. The first Jamaicans, the Arawak Indians (Tainos) found shelter in the caves initially. Proof of this is evident in the multiple fragments of pottery and adzes that are unearthed from time to time.

During the period of take-over by the English, the caves were used as a hideout for the Spaniards who were being driven out of the countryThe caves can also be identified with that period between the two world wars where they were used by smugglers running arms to Cuba. In the latter years during the Second World War, the Government of Jamaica used the entrance of the cave as a storeroom for rum in barrels. In the 1960's Green Grotto Caves fell into the possession of the Kirkner family. Today, they are owned by the Urban Development Corporation and operated by the St Ann Development Company and the attraction is being developed to include a nature park and reserve. You can book your Green Grotto Caves Tour from anywhere in Jamaica.

Why is Jamaica so unique?

Why is Jamaica so Unique? There is no place like Jamaica on planet earth as the culture and the people are so unique. I have been told that people from all over the world are coming to take sample from the soil, and studying the people trying through scientific methods to find out how come we are so small yet so powerful for a comparatively small island. What are your thoughts? http://www.paradisepalmsjamaicatours.com

Jamaica is known for may wonderful things, the fastest man on earth, great rum, white sand beaches, Reggae music, and many more, we could go on and on and on, but the most thing that Jamaica is proud of is its people, Jamaic is nothing without its people as the diversity of it all rest on the shoulder of its people, Jamaicans are the backbone of the island, with smiles all year round and an everlasting faith that "Every Likke Ting A Go Be Alright", in other words every thing is going to be okay.

Why is Jamaica so unique? Jamaica is also known for the famous saying "Don't Worry, Be Happy", it does not matter what Jamaican's are going through there is a smile waiting around the corner, what more can you ask for, simply put Jamaica is Love, and Love is all you need when you visit Jamaica, there are many places to see and people to meet, as Jamaica's motto states "Out Of Many One People" meaning: Jamaica is made up of all different race of people but at the end of the day we all come together for a greater cause, to have fun or when ever there is crisis.

You can never be hungry in Jamaica as your neigbors are always ready to lend an open hand, and most homes in Jamaica have fruit trees, if you are hungry ask your neibor and you are guarnateed to get some food, some fruit trees that is popular in Jamaican yards are Bread Fruit trees, Ackee Trees, and Mango Trees, just to name a few, you can never be hungry in Jamaica as our love is always showing up.
